Nice to Meet You!

Marina and Aurelien, creators of the idea that arises solely from our passion and curiosity for self-production; local sustainability and being part of a community.

Marina Di Giorgio / Co-Founder
- CEO & Business Development

With BeVeegie: " since I have always had a lot of interest in self-production, moving to the south of France from an apartment to a villa with a garden allowed us to put it into practice also through the help of Aurelien's family and the different techniques learned n books rather than online. Now I dedicate my time to find ways to bring this knowledge and resources to local communities"

The Change happened when... "I saw my firstborn going into the garden and sitting in front of the raspberry plants eating them as an afternoon snack... This made me understand how important it is to pass on our knowledge to future generations and normalize self-production!"

Before BeVeegie: "I was a flight attendant, living in the center of Paris. My life was focused on consumption without thinking too much about where my groceries come from or the seasonality of my vegetables".

Aurélien Ventugol / Co-Founder
- Marketing & Communications

With BeVeegie: Now that I am a father and have returned to my family lands, impressed by the issues of climate change and the future I want to leave for my children, I have decided to leave the security of a managerial job to dedicate myself to this project and allow leave a more desirable and less anxious future for my children.

The change happened when... covid hit and press became more vocal about some climate change impacts. I was struck by this, professionally and personally and decided to invest my time in an impactful and ambitious project. That's when Beveegie's idea was born.

Before BeVeegie: Coming from a family of workers and farmers I have always been in contact with the land. At the family table I have always seen seasonal products, often local and sometimes coming from the family garden. However, my studies and my first jobs distanced me considerably from this system. I have been a manager for 15 years for large French groups, living in the center of Paris and consuming if not over-consuming what a large city can offer.
