BeVeegie: the project

Solutions

Resource management, food self-sufficiency, a concern for consuming better and locally, and combating inflation are all challenges we believe a vegetable garden in your own yard or that of your neighbours can address while strengthening local solidarity and fostering community.

Our platform aims to address these issues in real-time, in a geolocated and secure manner for its users: providing access to shared cultivation spaces or sharing cultivation spaces in their gardens, and providing access to or sharing their knowledge and time for gardening or sharing other resources.

Objectives

From a territorial perspective, the idea of this platform is to offer hyper-localized results at the neighborhood or village level, for example.

The ambition is to create a platform that will expand throughout the French territory and its neighboring countries, starting with Italy, for instance.

From a human perspective, it is a collective effort aimed at connecting individuals of all ages and backgrounds, from the youngest to the oldest, as well as cities, schools, and training centers in the fields of agriculture, landscaping, agronomy, and more.

Ambitions

We have realized to what extent a vegetable garden is the result of expertise and experiences that we lack.

This project also corresponds to a moment in our lives in which we want to make a contribution to topics that are close to our hearts:
- resource management
- strengthening the bond within our community
- health challenges covering nutrition and food quality.
